Pauline E. Johns, age 88, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Viola Care; and brothers, Jimmy Care and Paul Care.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Ralph Johns; daughter, Virginia Zoeller of Maryland, Judy Johnson of Morristown; sons, Bruce (Linda) Johns of Morristown, Ralph (Karen) Johns of Bean Station, Duane (Donna) Johns of Morristown; grandchildren, Dawn Ludwig, Mike Zoeller, Rebecca A. Sandstrom, Debbie Wolf, Casey Johns, Samantha Johns, Derek Johns, Duane A. (Rachael) Johns, Mariah K. Johns; great-grandchildren, Peyton, McKenzie, and Dylan Johns, Duncan, Eric, and Ian Ludwig, David, Tyler, and Michael Sandstrom; sisters, Ruth Kendale, Betty Linnbaum; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Zavattieri officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening prior to the services at the funeral home.
