Q.M. Trent, age 83, of Mooresburg, went to meet the Lord on May 4, 2010, at his home. He was surrounded by his family. He was saved at an early age and was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church. He was dearly loved. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Q.M. was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Maude (Hurd) Trent; brothers, Kermit, Paul, huston, Luther and Carl Trent; and sisters, Edna Mahan and Adele Lawson.
He is survived by his daughter, Claudette (Dan) Jarnigan; son, Jerry Trent, both of Mooresburg; brother, Lowell "Tom" Trent of Ohio; sister, Norma Lou Clark of Mooresburg; grandchildren, Scott (Robin) Jarnigan, Dallas (Lisa) Jarnigan, Claudia (Tracy) Clifford, Danielle (Aaron) Lucas, Angie (Mark) Davis; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of special nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 1:00p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. The Rev. Tracy Clifford and Rev. Robert Jarnigan will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 - 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
