Richard Lee Olson, age 81, of Bulls Gap, TN, formerly of Soldiers Grove, WI, passed away at 1:00 in the morning of February 14, 2022 at his residence. Richard was a member of Habitat for Humanity and a veteran of The United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Olson; daughter, Michele Olson; son, Eric Olson; mother, Ruth Hudson; father, Tilman “Oleaner” Olson; brother, Michael Olson; great-granddaughter, Lillian Leach.
He is survived by his brothers, Benjamin Olson, Terry Olson; sister, Dianna Quick; daughter, Jennifer Olson-Hardin; grandchildren, Kristen Maloy, Kimberly Maloy, Heather Maloy, Lynnette Neuman, Tylor Olson, Aaron Olson, Rylie Passero, Emily Olson; and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 5 to 6 pm in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm. Family and friends will meet in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery in Bulls Gap on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:45 pm for 2:00 pm military graveside service conducted by VFW Post #5266 with Shaw Air Force Honor Guard assisting.
