ROY C. YOUNG, age 74 of Morristown formerly of Tazewell, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2012. He was a member of Midtown Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Media Jennings; his grandparents that raised him, Leonard and Oma Young and brothers, Glen, Otis and Ray Young. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ollie Young; daughter, Lorraine Young; sons, Mitchell (Karen) Young, Robert (Tracy) Young and Randall (Sheree) Young; grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer) Dalton, Dustin Young, Amber Dalton, Shana (Jason) McDaniel, Derek (Madison) Young, Dakota Suggs, Sheranna and Makenzie Young and Hunter Young; great-grandchildren, Jaelyn, Jake and Lynlee McDaniel, Makenna and Bryleigh Dalton, Bailee Young; brothers and sisters, Earnest, Lawrence, James, Lenville Young, Luke Buell, Helen Standifer, Leo Jennings, Grover Jennings, Dorotha Short and Pauline Atkins; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the sanctuary of Midtown Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Winstead, Rev. Dennis Alder and the Rev. Mike Potter officiating. Interment will follow in Evans Family Cemetery in Tazewell. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
