She was born to the late Ralph and Mary Miller of Athens, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Richard Lee Godby, Sr., son: William Godby, both of Morristown and two siblings: Steve Miller and Sharon O'Connor of Columbus, Ohio.
Sharlene is survived by her children: Richard Godby, Jr. (Felicia) of Bulls Gap; Angel (Josh) Adkins of Morristown; Amber (AJ) Perfetti and Destiny (John) Costello all of Talbott. Siblings: Delores (Clarence) Rothwell, Charlie Miller, and Brian (Tracy) Miller. Along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at The Bridge Church, 2243 E Main Street, Rogersville, TN. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon with Rev. John Godby officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
