Susan Whaley

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Mack Hodge; sister, Janice Hodge; and daughter, Elizabeth Whaley-Gulley.

She is survived by her mother, Freddie Hodge; sister, Phyllis (Bob) Griffin, brothers, Richard Hodge and Roy (Cheryl) Hodge; husband, Hansel Eugene Whaley, Sr.; daughter, Denyce (Brandon) Ison; sons, Bradley (Amy) Ramsey and Gene (Abbi) Whaley; adopted daughters, Danyell (Ed) Cain and Rachel Raines; and grandchildren, Ian and Karla McAuley, Faythe Smith, Jonathan Robinson, Connor and Elise Ramsey, Brendan and Savannah Hensley, Lydia, Mariah, Elijah and Nora Whaley, Alexa Cain, Reece Knight, Madison Purkey, Gabriel Long and Dawson “Dolphin” Raines.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Wells officiating. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
