Dear Mary and family,

We were so sad to hear of Tim's passing, he touched many lives.  We had a long standing work/personal relationship with him for many years through the tire business and admired him deeply.  He truly was one of a kind.

Dear Mary and Family,

Kathy and I are so sorry to hear of Tim's passing.  Tim was one of the greats, and helped me in countless ways, whether it be at Goodyear, home projects, fastpitch softball, or church.  He was always there to lend advice and do the actual work, with his 'can do' spirit, optimism, and compassion.

We will always cherish the wonderful memories we have of Tim, you, and your beautiful family being so kind to the Goekes in so many ways, and we are forever grateful.

Thank you for the example that Tim, you, and your family have set for all of us, and we will do all that we can to honor Tim as we travel life's road.

I have so many fond memories of Tim!
He became a colleague at MAXAM and more importantly a friend that will be truly missed.

He constantly bragged about your children and grandchildren to the point I asked him to adopt me several times so he would stop arguing with me!

I worked with Tim for about two years at MAXAM Tire before he retired, and the honor to participate in the last sales meeting he had at MAXAM before his retirement. This image was of him holding his trophy of excellence and commitment at MAXAM. Tim was not only an instrumental part of our organization and its success within ten years, but also an inspirational hard worker who helped shape the very culture of our team. He always went the extra mile and helped whenever he could,  whether it was his job or not. He has taught those of us who don't "bleed rubber" to bleed rubber and love tires just as much as he always has. 

Even years after Tim's retirement, his influence and legacy are still being discussed by us. This legacy extends beyond his work ethic and passion for his job and tire, because it was about the footprint he's left behind as a genuine, wonderful person.

We are so very sorry to learn of the passing of Tim. He was such a great guy, and very knowledgeable of the grounds in the community. 
Anytime a question about it a property line arose, all we had to do was call him and he could answer it without even a 2nd thought. And never even thought twice about so many questions. 
The world sure lost a good man. Our continued prayers are with Mary and the rest of the family.

From the first day we met Tim and Mary they couldn’t have been more welcoming into the Shiloh Springs neighborhood.  Tim always put everyone’s needs first. From digging holes for us to answering questions about the septic. We actually called him our personal mailman.  Tim delivered our mail more than the mailman.   Our first day out on our boat our engine just stopped. Mitch called Tim, and without hesitation, Tim said, “let me get my shoes on and I will come find you”!  
Family first…
We seen Tim sitting by the waterfall at the front of the entrance.  We stopped and asked him what he was doing and he said, “well, I’m suppose to be fixing the waterfall pumps, but, I’m  watching my grandson hit a grand slam”!  
Tim and Mary came into the apparel store I work at, looking for coats for their vacation.  Mary found a great coat to wear along with other item's  While they were in vacation, Tim took the time, while on their vacation, text me and told me how much Mary loved her coat and never took it off.  
Mitch and I would like to say… it was a great  honor and privilege to know  a man with such integrity, compassion, contagious laugh, and just an all around wonderful human being!!
Our lasting memory of Tim is sitting around the fire talking about Bidets, cocktail balls, the fountain pumps, green pills,  parking on the grass, Matts retirement age of 97, 13 grandkids (that he adored), Roger burying someone in a sock, too putting a graveyard in your yard for tax purpose's.  Tim and Mary, you will always have a seat by our fire.

Ralph and my hearts ache for you and your dear family, Mary.  We are so grateful that we got to visit with you and Tim last spring.  We smile thinking about the joy on his face,  as he drove us around on the UTV  in your beautiful community.   Of course his joy and the ride and visiting with both of you made us pretty happy too! We also enjoyed being updated about your family, and how deeply you both love them is so apparent! We had such a fabulous time reconnecting with the 2 of you.  It is as if no time had passed at all, except that our kids all got much older, and we are all grandparents now!  

You and Tim were blessed with an incredible family, and we are so glad that you have their support and that of your community and church as well. He legacy lives on in all of you!!

Our condolences and prayers

As I read all the other condolences, all echo the same reembrace I have for Tim.Indeed he was a great family man, mentor to many, deep rooted in his faith, unconditional friendship and integrity. One story comes to mind that I will always cherish. My beloved mother was in Hospice Care near the end of her life; our jobs required us to travel extensively for GDYR. Tim said to me after I told him the news that he would fire me if I left the house to travel, he said I needed to be with my mom as long as she was still alive. He also came to visit her twice shortly before she passed. I wish I could have talked to him one last time, but I know he is resting comfortably in heaven. Most likely riding around on a new shiny tractor manicuring the grass up in heaven. God Bless to the Good family, may you gain strength daily knowing Tim is in Heaven.

Photo is from 2020 ConExpo...Tim was one of kind and he loved what he did for a living.  Tim was a major influence in allowing MAXAM Tire to establish business with the World's leading Heavy Equipment Manufacturer.  He was so well respected for his approach...a great mentor to so many.  Rest in peace Mr. Good, you will certainly be missed by many.

We have lost an amazing man. He is certainly with the Lord now asking how he can help. So many found memories of his smiling face and can-do attitude will stay with me forever. Tim so graciously welcomed our family to the area and truly made us feel at home here in Shiloh Springs. Tim’s graciousness and friendship will be truly missed, he was one of a kind and a very kind one!

Tim was such a kind and wise person. I still vividly remember when I visited his home several years ago and he showed me around the area. It is a wonderful memory that I will always treasure. I have always respected him as a great life mentor; he was so energetic and warm. May he Rest in the arms of the Lord.

One of the greatest pleasures in my life was to work for Tim at Goodyear and work with Tim at Maxam International. 
Tim was one of those people that was on your mind every time you walked in to a mine site. Over the years I had great pleasure in traveling and working beside Tim. He was a man with many words of wisdom. God must have some really big plans for Tim, he was a great individual. R.I.P. Tim, I’ll miss picking up the phone to just say HI knowing you always answer.

I have many fond memories of when I was reporting Tim over many many years.

I first met Tim in Akron when I was taking the commercial training (1988/89)

I then joined OTR in September of 1991 with my first team meeting being spring of 1992 and Tim was in total charge of those meetings.

I then was part for next many years participating as Tim continued to be a great leader and mentor until his retirement from Goodyear.

The dinners at the house with the Goodyear OTR  all very memorable.

His work ethic’s were second to no one and when he retired from Goodyear he was never replaced.

I could go on and on many great memories.

Mary, I'm am shocked to hear about the passing of your lovely Husband Tim. My wife and I met Tim on the property last summer. We ended up buying lot 100 and our home is being built. Your husband was a kind man to deal with. I was looking forward to working along side him in the community. This loss is hugh On many levels. Dave and I moved to Rutledge, TN in 2022 from Utah to build our home in Shiloh Springs.
 Before we even broke ground on our house in Shiloh Springs we went to Tim and Mary's house to introduce ourselves and Tim & Mary welcomed us into their home. 
The Good's and our neighbors have become our family, spending time on holidays and weekends. We have never been so grateful to live in our wonderful neighborhood. 
Tim's spirit will be forever in our views of Cherokee Lake and our hearts.
