Brother French was an amazing man of god, a loving father and a lot more. His helpful spirit and warm heart was a blessing to everyone and his love for God just lit a fire in everyone. I remember our talks, just chatting for hours about different things but most importantly the Lord. His love for God burned brighter and brighter though we knew each other for a couple months it felt like we knew eachother for a lifetime brother Eric was amazing, he was a real blessing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time, a loss is never easy. Praying God blesses and comforts you all during this time and know you've got an extended online family whose constantly lifting you and little Ava up.

To Eric's family and friends I am so sorry for this huge loss. This is totally shocking. I had known Eric for thirty years. We worked together, laughed and hung out together, and we knew a lot of the same people and friends together.  He was an awesome and caring and loving guy. He is already so sadly missed. Prayers to miss Ava and his parents and other loved ones at this very hard time.

I send my deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to Ava and the French family. I was truly blessed to be able to spend time with Eric and Ava on Thanksgiving and Christmas a couple of years ago. We had some great conversations, and shared a lot of laughter. I want to thank you for blessing me and my family. Your presence and  warm smile will definitely be missed on this earth.  Eric, I’m not going to say good bye-I’m saying I’ll see you later.

I am at a loss of words…I just saw this and I’m so sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. He and I became friends about a year ago. We talked about God and parenthood and life 🥰❤️🙏 I just want to say I am so sorry about your loss and I am praying for Ava and all of you 🙏

Eric was a loving,  caring man and dad. He was very successful in life, really proud of him! He's hanging with Jesus  and his loving brother Clark and all the other family and friends that preceded him.... love you Eric! Gonna miss you buddy, you were one of a kind!!

My heart breaks to know you are sleeping. Your entire SFP Community is in mourning. I know God misses you too,  because while you sleep you cannot praise Him. I know that besides spending time with Ava, that was your favorite things to do, to  praise God.  To speak of Him and to tell  others about Him; His goodness and Love. 
God holds your breath of life Eric, and on Resurrection  Morning, Jesus will call your name, and return it to you. 
In a twinkling of  an eye, at the last trump, you will be changed.  Mortal will put on  immortality.  Death will be swallowed up in victory.  
We will all meet together in the Clouds, and be forever with the Lord.  What a glorious day, my Brother. I cant wait!   Sleep peacefully my friend, I’ll see you in the morning.

I am so sad to have lost a Brother in Christ. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. My heart goes out to his family. He loved his family so much. He loved his daughter highly and I pray that God will comfort her and keep her well. 
He was always full of life and energy anytime he spoke about God.
All in all, may God bring peace and comfort to his family.

Hello, my name is Savanna Weselak. I was a dear friend of Eric's. I am very sorry about your loss. He was an amazing man, human being. He has definitely been a shining star in my life, He was like a big brother to me. I am lost for words. I tried making a video but it won't allow me to because it was too big. My heart is still hurting, the day I found out about his passing, I didn't want to believe it. His lively energy shone through out our family on SFP discord. He has impacted my life as well as many others. His love for his daughter Ava was so beautiful. He was so on fire for God and it really inspired my husband and I so much. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't of gotten a laptop to help with my work in the ministry and also me trying to open up a small business, I named it "blessed" because it was a blessing from him. He helped a single father from being out on the streets too! God truly blessed this man with a wonderful heart, and as much as I don't want to accept that he is gone, I know that he is resting. And that I will see that big ol lug soon enough. Praying for the entire family, Just know he will be truly missed by many and from all over the world! God bless.

There are no words you can say to help ease the pain of a loss. Please just know Eric was an absolute blessing. He spoke so highly of his family, and was always eager to share his immense love for them. He would regularly be praying for his family and it was such an inspiration to see his devotion. He was truly one of a kind and his presence will be sincerely missed. I look forward to the day we get to meet again in heaven.

I knew brother Erick from the small family gatherings that we had on SFP online.  He was very passionate about God, funny, participated in conversations and very caring as well. My condolences,  to his family. Brother Eric Fresh was a loving and giving person, we at the SFP community miss him dearly. His zeal and love for God was admirable. My prayers are with his daughter Ava most of all. He spoke of her with such love, joy and compassion, he was diffenately a proud dad. He was and still is  my hero. Brother, I can’t help but reach for my phone, hoping to see a message or call from you. The ache is still so raw. We had some deep conversations, and you shared so much about our Savior, Yeshua, or as many know Him, Jesus. We walked a long, tough road together—laughing, crying, and often you’d stand on that ledge with your arms wide, professing your immense love and understanding of our Creator.

Your daughter, Ava, was your light, your everything. You always wanted the best for her and worked tirelessly toward her success. We often held tight to Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper,” when life tried to knock us down. That verse was your shield.

Even as you rest now, brother, the world is still full of those weapons—temptations, struggles, and challenges. You were rescued brother. We used to talk about how the love of money, not money itself, is the root of all evil. Many will fall because they chase mammon over the truth of Yeshua. I know Kim, Rachelle, little Ecyla, and Tammie will miss our talks about Will, EZFrench, and all things Eric.

I hear your voice in my mind, reminding me that you’re not looking down from above because that’s not biblically true, as you would say. But I have faith that when you rise again, your eyes will open to the face of our Lord and Savior. Until then, we’ll meet again in the clouds.

This may seem like a conversation between two living people, but I know it’s not. I’m speaking to our Savior, sharing with Him the words I would tell you if you were here. Eric, you were loved beyond measure, and your legacy will live on in our hearts. Amen.

Eric’s absence will be felt for years to come. My heartfelt condolences to his parents and daughter Ava as well as his nieces.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and close friends of Eric. I hadn’t seen or spoke to him in many years but this has caused me to first be heavy hearted for his young daughter, his dad and many other family members that I’m sure he was close to. I’ve thought this week about life and how fragile it really is and how we must take each day as such a precious gift. I’m truly sorry for this tragic loss. I bow my head in prayer right now and ask God to please comfort and protect his Family that is suffering with terrible grief.

Our family (my husband & kids)  was blessed to share a major holiday with Eric a couple months ago. We shared so much fun and laughs over games, that I was hoping to make him a regular. He was the kind that could fit in everywhere.

A Bible student, he always wanted to learn more truth and studied for himself. Eric loved God and loved people, and I have no doubt that we will meet again at the resurrection. We have this faith, this trust, and this hope!

If you’ve ever seen the movie The Sandlot or Stand By Me, that’s what kind of friend Eric was to me.  We were the boys of Oak Hills. Eric, Me, Lance, Andy, The Mayes Boys and several others. It was such a great time of life and great place to grow up. His role in my memories from those days can never be replaced or replicated. I’ve had so many good times with him and Learned some lessons with him too. I pray and feel for the ones he left behind. He is missed dearly. It’s still surreal to me that he’s gone. The last time I talked to him was after Clark passed. I’m thankful we had that reconnection. 

It’s important to mention what a great role Rick played  for all of us during those days as well. He was always there to coach us and help keep us straight. He was very generous with his time and effort for all of us. I’ll never forget him inviting and taking me to a Knoxville Blue Jays game with them on a random visit to his house one summer day. It meant the world to me that I was invited and got to go. Events like that just  wasn’t something we did a lot of in my home. I’m grateful to this day for so much he did for Eric and all of us. Rick, I’m so sorry. Those are the only words I can muster.
