

On Nov. 5, 2013, Grace Irene Taylor Osborne went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was born on January 25, 1928 in the family home at Kingsford, Michigan to Edward Taylor and Esther (Jacobson) Taylor. The family moved to Washington in 1940 to partner with Ed’s brothers in the family business. In 1946, Grace married her love, Glen Osborne and they settled in Mossyrock and have resided in the same home all these years. Grace loved to read, travel and sing with Glen at various functions and were requested often. They spent many years singing at Christian Logger’s meetings. She was an active member of Mossyrock Community Church for 34 years where was active in ladies ministries and taught children’s Sunday School. The last 33 years she was an active member of Mossyrock Assembly of God where she taught adult Bible studies for many years. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Hatfield and Ruth Taftezon, and a brother, Melvin Taylor. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Douglas Collum. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, two daughters, Pat Collum and her husband, Don, of Wilsonville, Alabama and Chris Sasser and her husband Randall of Mossyrock, Washington . She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A Memorial celebration will be held at the Mossyrock Assembly of God church in Mossyrock at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9. Interment will follow at Doss Cemetery. A potluck will follow at the Mossyrock Community Center. In lieu of flowers, please send checks to the Mossyrock Assembly of God church, Mossyrock, Washington 98564 and designate the funds for Teen Challenge, in memory of Grace Osborne. Teen Challenge was one of the charities Grace faithfully supported. Grace will be available for viewing at the Morton Brown Mortuary facility from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, November 8.
