

James Grant Stiltner passed away peacefully at his home in Morton with his family by his side on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Jim was born to Forrest Pine Stiltner and Violet Henke on December 25, 1954 in Ephrata, WA. After graduating San Juan High School in Sacramento, CA in 1973, Jim proudly served our country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Private Second Class. Following his valiant service Jim graduated from Western Pacific Truck School, with his CDL he drove for 15 years. On February 10, 1990 Jim married the love of his life Diana (Slaughter) Stiltner in Tacoma, WA.
Jim was an active man who enjoyed fishing, watching baseball games with his family, playing cribbage, hiking, camping and working on cars.
Jim will be missed by all of his friends and family, he touched many lives
Jim is survived by his parents, Forrest Stiltner and Violet Henke; loving wife, Diana Stiltner; son, Patrick Splan; daughter, Katrina (Troy) Herbert; sister, Paula Rosendahl; grandchildren, Trevor Herbert, Collin Herbert, Matthew Herbert as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 15, at Stiltner Cemetery in Morton. Arrangements are under the care of Brown Mortuary.
