

Kenneth "Casey" Dale Clevenger, 88, of Morton, passed away on January 24, 2017 at Morton General Hospital. Casey was born on November 17, 1928 to James and Martha (Hugh) Clevenger, in Chehalis, WA. Casey grew up in Kosmos, WA and went to grade school in Glenoma. He graduated from Morton High school in 1947 and went on to be a Mill Worker for 42 years, retiring in 1991.
On October 7, 1967, Casey married the love of his life, Jo Ann Barker in Morton.
Casey belonged to the Morton Moose Lodge, the Lumber and Sawmill Workers Union and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Casey enjoyed outdoor activities such as, hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, and watching wildlife. He loved sharing memories with his friends and family, especially his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, John and sister-in-law, Pat.
Casey is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jo, children; Denise Spillmann of Olympia, Cindi (Mike) Lanphere of Little Rock, Rob (Denise) Clevenger of Morton, and Teresa Stephens of Centralia, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held, 1 pm, Saturday, February 4th, 2017, at the Morton Senior Center, with a potluck reception to follow. Services are under the care of Brown Mortuary, Morton.
