

Leo P. Decker, 87, of Packwood, Wash. passed away at home on May 21, 2014. He was born in Dickinson, North Dakota on May 4, 1927 to Emil and Leokadia (Wandler) Decker. Leo worked for Boeing for seven years and then he became the owner and operator of the Packwood Café and Chevron Station in Packwood. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morton, and the Commissioner for Lewis Co Fire District #10. Leo had a passion for golfing, playing pool, and the Packwood Flea Market.
Leo is survived by his wife, Linda Decker. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Anna Marie, longtime companion Opal Griggs, and his brothers, Tony, Paul and John.
A rosary will be held at 11am, where visitation may also be made, on Saturday May 31, 2014, followed by the funeral mass at 12pm, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morton. A graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Packwood. A potluck reception after the graveside service will be held at the Community Hall in Packwood. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Sacred Heart Food Bank in Morton. Arrangements under the direction of Brown Mortuary Service in Morton.
