Betty worked as a bank teller for First National Bank for many years. Betty enjoyed hunting in the outdoors and working in her yard. She was most affectionately known as "Aunt Bet" to everyone who knew her, and she will be missed greatly.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Edley Fleury, her parents, a sister, Joyce Forrester, and two brothers, Leo Parker and Clyde Parker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her nephews, Barry Forrester (Alma), Mark Forrester (Paula), Kent Forrester (Megan), Roddy Parker (Cindy), Ronnie Parker (Lynette), and Randy Parker; nieces, Rachelle Dunn (Billy), and Connie Patin (Chad); and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Hixson Funeral Chapel of Moss Bluff and will resume at 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
Betty's funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Hixson Funeral Chapel of Moss Bluff with Pastor John Astling officiating. Burial will follow in Creel Cemetery.
