Charles Lindberg Anderson

Charles was born in Youngs Town, Ohio and lived in Moss Bluff. He worked as a meteorological technician for the national weather service. Charles was a WWll U.S. Navy veteran and he served as a scout master for the boy scouts of America. He owned and operated Andy’s small engine repair in Moss Bluff.

Charles is survived by his wife Wanda Louise Cowan Anderson of Moss Bluff, sons Charles Edward “Eddy” and wife Melissa Anderson of Moss Bluff, William John Anderson of Moss Bluff, William Franklin “Bill” and wife Jennifer Anderson of Moss Bluff, daughters Linda Joyce Anderson of Lake Charles, Diana Michelle Phillips and husband Allan of Sulphur and brother Jack Anderson of Bennett North Carolina. Charles is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles is proceeded in death by his parents James and Retha Anderson, brother Bill Anderson, sister Retha Mae Lockhart and grandson Jeffery Phillip Anderson, son James Garland Anderson and daughter Vickie Louise Denham.

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff from 5pm to 8pm visitation will resume Wednesday from 9am to 11am.
