Christopher "Bubba" James Witherwax

Bubba was a native of Moss Bluff and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1988. He worked in the construction and pipe line field as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He also was a member of the Operating Engineers Local Union 406. In Bubba's words, "Love the Lord, Love my family!" Bubba will be missed greatly.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Priscilla Witherwax; son, Jaxson J Witherwax; parents, Laddie B and Kay Witherwax all of Moss Bluff; sister, Brandi Edwards and husband, Chris of Flower Mound, TX; sister, Wendy Landry and husband, Jamie of Woodlawn, LA; sister, Karen Toney of Ragley; niece, Katlyn; nephews, Joshua, Quentin, Kane, Asa, and numerous other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Edna Witherwax, and maternal grandparents, Kathryn Pye and Travis Ezelle.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Chapel of Moss Bluff. Rev. Wayne Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Visitation will be held from 5 - 10- p.m. on Monday and will resume at 8 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
