

Daniel Scott Hebert, 48, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in his residence.
He was born in Lake Charles, graduated from Sam Houston High School and attended SOWELA Tech. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff, the PRCA and LHSRA Rodeo Association, as well as the Local 798. He worked as a Lead Welding Inspector for Calumet Refinery in Shreveport, LA and was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He also loved gardening, cooking and being with his family.
Mr. Hebert is survived by his father, Jasper (Boonie) Hebert and mother, Rubye of Moss Bluff; wife, D'Licia Hebert of Shreveport; sons, Jacob Hebert of Lafayette, Colby Hebert of Lake Charles, Luke Hebert of Shreveport; daughters, Valerie Hebert of Lake Charles, Emily Hebert of Shreveport; brother, David Lee Hebert of Topsy and sister, Terri Hebert Boles and husband Steve of Houston, TX.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Rev. Lance Cypert will officiate. Burial will be in Old Ritchie Cemetery.
