Mr. Malone was born in Kinder, La. and lived in Moss Bluff He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and was a retired electrician with local 861.
Survivors include 2 sons, Leonard Malone and wife, Ruby of Moss Bluff, La, Jerry Malone and wife, Dorothy of Lake Charles; 1 daughter, Susan Denise Stevens of Moss Bluff; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mr. Malone was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary Beatrice Savant Malone and a son, Charles Roger Malone.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. till service time.
