E.Llewelwyn "Lou" Gorham

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff.

“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Goos and husband, Wesley of Moss Bluff and Sharon Venable and husband, Bobby of Kansas; four sons, Stuart Gorham and wife, Charmaine Simon Gorham of Moss Bluff, Gary Gorham and wife, Carolyn Kingham Gorham of Moss Bluff, David Gorham and wife, Kristy Kershaw Gorham of Moss Bluff and Jim Gorham and wife, Lucille Henry Gorham of Moss Bluff; three sisters, Linda Park of New Albany, MS, Loretta Martin of Duson, LA and Elaine Driggers of Tioga, LA; one brother, Orville Spikes of Atlanta, LA; 19 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mathew W. Gorham, Jr.; parents, Woodard N. and Ella Thomas Spikes; granddaughter, Kristen Denee’ Gorham.

Her funeral will be 11am, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Francis LaRocque will officiate. Visitation will begin Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 4pm-9pm and resume Wednesday 8am until service time. Burial will be in Old Richie Cemetery. We were blessed to call her mom. Those who knew her called her beloved friend. She loved our Lord the most.
