Gary Leland Grob

Mr. Grob was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 16, 1951, to Albert and Lorraine Wood Grob. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending quality time with family and friends.

He leaves to honor his memory, his sister: Gail Grob, loving wife of 43 years: Kathy Grob of Moss Bluff, two daughters: April Simon and husband Chad of Moss Bluff, Kimberly Holzknecht and fiancé Larry Tyson of Bridge City, Texas, three grandchildren: Ethan Galer, Caleb Galer, and Kaitlyn Galer. He is predeceased by his parents: Albert and Lorriane Wood Grob, and grandson: Joshua St. John.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff, LA from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Cursillo rosary to begin at 6:00p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Moss Bluff, LA on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., with Father John Huckaby officiating. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery.
