Leonard Carroll Malone

He was a resident of Moss Bluff and attended St. Theodore’s Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked for Texas International Airlines for 18 years, Smith Feed Store Manager for 10 years, and he retired as an Electrician from Triad Electric in 2003. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Malone of Moss Bluff; sons, David (Cheryl) Malone of Lafayette; Scott Malone of Sulphur and Jeremy (Gwendolyn) Malone of Spring, TX; daughter, Sarah (Tom) Brandow of Sulphur; brother, Jerry (Dorothy) Malone of Lake Charles; sister, Susan Stephens of Moss Bluff; grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Olivia, Ryan, Lexie, Lainey, Savannah, JohnLuke and Caleb. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Beatrice Savant Malone and brother, Roger Malone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Cursillo Rosary at 6:00pm and will resume Saturday from 8:00am until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
