

Lessie Verleen Fuselier, age 90, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana passed away on November 7th in her residence. She was born in Mora, Louisiana and moved to Moss Bluff in 1970. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. She was a life-long member of the Catholic Daughters, The Altar Society and also sang in the choir. Verleen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 9933 in Moss Bluff. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her husband Charles Fuselier of Moss Bluff; four sons, Charles Edward Fuselier and wife Cherrie of Spring, Texas, Daniel Fuselier and wife Sharon of Moss Bluff, Donald Fuselier of Moss Bluff, and Karl Fuselier of Moss Bluff, daughter, Charleen Godeaux and husband Ronnie of Westlake; two brothers, Raymond Johnson of Morgan City, Louisiana and Willard Johnson of Carlyss, and sister Pearlie Stark of Moss Bluff, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th from 5 pm to 8 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm, at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Visitation will resume on Monday at 10 am until time of the service. Service will be held at St. Theodore Catholic Church at 1pm, followed by burial at New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Rev. John Huckaby will officiate. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Holy Family Catholic School or Our Lady’s School in Sulphur.
