Louise Louviere Spalding

Louise was born in Pine Island, LA, and has lived most of her life in Louisiana. She was a graduate of Iowa High School and was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church for many years. She was a Cub Scout den mother and belonged to a bowling league. Louise worked as a CNA for Memorial Hospital; she also enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, and playing bridge and was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by both her parents; Willard and Ida Mae Louviere, her husband Ira Joshua “Jack” Spalding, two brothers; Walter Louviere and Ernest Louviere and three sisters; Eula Mae Lamparty, Juanita Fontenot and Irene Wait.

Those left to cherish her memories is her son; Richard E. Guillory and wife Karen of Moss Bluff, one step son; Mike Spalding and wife Cleo of Columbus, Miss, one daughter; Kathleen Guillory Suydam and husband Robert of Moss Bluff, along with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 11a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The rosary will be at 10:30a.m. on Monday. Burial will follow immediately service at Oak lawn Cemetery in Welsh, La. Words of Comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
