

Thelma Joyce (Lyles) Coleman of Ragley, Louisiana, passed away on May 14th, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Thelma was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 12, 1936, to her parents, Dempsey and Rosa Lyles.
She worked as a teacher's aide in special education for the school board and also as security in the Lake Charles mall. She loved working alongside her husband in their greenhouse and the yard.
She is welcomed in to Heaven by her parents and brother, Johnny Lyles.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rayburn Coleman of Ragley, LA; three sons, Derek Coleman and wife Mary of Carlyss, LA, Brent Parks and wife Angie of Longville LA, and Sean Coleman and wife Alexis of Westlake, LA; two daughters, Pam Francis and husband Stan of Lake Charles, LA, and Christina Davis and husband Charles of Sulphur, LA; one sister, Ethelene Watkins of Moss Bluff, LA. She also leaves behind 9 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Moss bluff on Monday May 17, 2021 at 12:00pm until the time of the service at 1:00pm, with Monty Jones and Brent Parks officiating.
Burial will be held at a later date at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana.
