

He was a member of IBEW Electricians Union for 30 years. He was a member of FLE, BEE and 110 Brothers. He loved his children and was very proud of their accomplishments. His grandchildren were his world. He could fix or build any thing, he loved fast cars and insisted on buying only American made products.
Survivors include his father, Warren Jay Hunter, Sr. of Moss Bluff, LA; mother, Carolyn Hunter of Thurman, IA; step mother, Peggy Rousseau of Moss Bluff, LA; wife, Cynthia A. Hunter of Moss Bluff, LA; sons, Warren "Buddy" Hunter and wife, Pam of Moss Bluff, LA; daughters, Heather Timpa of Moss Bluff, LA, Chasity Hunter of Moss Bluff, LA, Whitney Hunter of Moss Bluff, LA; sisters, Kellie Hunter of Council Bluffs, IA, April Bell of Ragley, LA; 6 grandchildren, Nathan Hunter, Emma Broussard, Kaydence Foreman, Rylee "Bug" Hunter, Brooklynn Timpa, and Jayden Timpa all of Moss Bluff. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grandma Harris, Granpa John and Grandma Avis.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Burial will be in New Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 8 a.m. til time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
