

Bill was born November 26, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to William J. and Anna Jordan. He graduated from Glendora High School in 1967. He served honorably during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy. He worked as a jet engine mechanic and plane captain for the Blue Angels, then later aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Ticonderoga. After his military service, he worked for the phone company as a cable splicer and supervisor where he retired after 40 years of dedicated service. From cars, to computers, to odd jobs around the house, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bill loved to collect and tinker with Lionel trains. Most of all, Bill loved his family and his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his father, William J. Jordan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Teresa Jordan; his son Jason Jordan and wife, Wendy; son Christopher Jordan; mother Anna Jordan; sister Suzanne Smith and husband, Dwight; mother-in-law Kathleen Venable; one grandson Jaydon Jordan; and many other family members and friends.
A Life Celebration will begin at 11:00 AM at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
