Joyce Marie (Zimmerman) Kresta, 79, of Moulton, TX, passed away November 13, 2017 in Hallettsville. She was born December 9, 1937 to Edgar and Cecilia (Koncaba) Zimmerman in Moulton. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Joyce married Daniel Kresta on June 20, 1959 in Moulton. Joyce leaves behind her husband of 58 years, son Allan Kresta and wife Cindy of Houston, daughters Sharon Jones of Katy and Donna Perez and husband Tommy of Moulton, grandchildren Jennifer Lester and husband Sheldon, Ryan Kresta and wife Stephanie, Lindsey Cavazos and husband Ray, Nicholas Perez and Hannah Perez, great grandchildren Heidi, Wells and Cameron Kresta, brother Dennis Zimmerman and wife Evea and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Evan Jones. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00am, Friday, November 17, 2017 with Rosary following at 6:30pm at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Interment will follow at the Moulton City Cemetery.
