Melvin S. Hirshowitz

Melvin S. Hirshowitz, age 80, of New Rochelle, New York passed away on Monday May 27, 2019. Melvin was born December 11, 1938 in the Bronx and was the son of Samuel and Lillian Hirshowitz. He is survived by his devoted wife Susan Bonnie Hirshowitz and beloved daughters Lauren Alison and Emily Sara a Sister Judith Hirshowitz Golomb and his nephews and nieces David Edelson, Lisa Beyrooty, Scott Hirsh, Lisa Michael and Robin Freedman. Melvin was a 1963 Harvard Law School graduate and operated a private practice in New York city for many years. Besides his parents Melvin was predeceased by his brother Norman Hirshowitz in 1999. A Funeral Service for Melvin will be held Sunday, June 2, 2019 12:00PM at The Riverside Memorial Chapel 21 West Broad Street Mount Vernon, NY 10552. Following the Funeral Service, Interment will be at The Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road Elmont NY.
