Mr. Frank L. Miller Sr.

Mr. Frank Miller Sr, age 79 of Taylorsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026. He was born in Louisville, KY, on February 14, 1947, to the late J.S. and Frances “Updike” Miller. Frank loved to fish and spend time outdoors. He liked to watch the hummingbirds on the feeders through his window. He enjoyed playing kiss and throw with his grandson Blake. Frank was an avid University of Louisville fan. He was always front and center whenever a game was on to cheer on the Cards. He loved most being a Husband, Father, and Papaw to his grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Miller; children, Mickey Henson (Ed), Dorothy Powell, Kathy Nugent (Shawn), Frank Miller Jr. (Tommi); grandchildren, Michael, Edward, Maryann, Cody, Timmy, Jodie, Christine, Noah and Blake; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington KY, 40047) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
