Mr. Oalin Hadden

Oalin Hadden, age 80, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his home. Oalin was born on June 20, 1945, in Banks, Kentucky to the late Rodney Hadden and Flossie Ison. Oalin Hadden was a man of faith and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Cox’s Creek Kentucky. He cherished spending time and making memories with his family and friends. Oalin’s greatest joys was the time he got to spend with his grandchildren. He was an avid hunter; he loved fishing and being outdoors. Oalin was a Mason and associated with the Fern Creek Lodge #955. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Linda Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Wanda Hadden; daughters, Angela Mathis (Tim) and Sherry Chesser (Steve); grandchildren, Marc Overstreet (Katie) and Kobe Chesser (Baylee); great grandchildren, Ella Overstreet, Macy Overstreet, Rowan Chesser and one on the way ; brothers, Jack Smith and Damon Smith (Maureen); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.). with burial to follow at Riverview Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
