A quiet soul with a quick wit, Bill had a way of saying just the right thing at just the right moment, often with a sparkle in his eye. In his younger years, he poured his heart into poetry, capturing beauty and truth in a few well-chosen lines. His words still echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
Deeply spiritual, Bill sought meaning in life’s quiet corners and found joy in the simple, sacred moments. He loved the stillness of a canoe gliding over calm waters, the crackle of a campfire under the stars, and the patience of a good day spent fishing.
Creative in spirit, he was an artist in everything he did whether it was growing food and flowers in his garden or bricklaying intricate and beautiful designs for patios and walkways.
Bill is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Lynn Campbell; children, Amy (Rob) Long, Andy (Tara) Atkinson and Sara (Tim) Turner; grandchildren, Ainsley Phillips, Brogan Long, Kennedi,Mason,Chloe, Mason, Kaitlyn and Garrison; brothers, Earl and Walt; sister, Carolyn ; nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Cindy, Rachel,Carri, Dwayne, Earl, Wayne, Shane and Brandon; and a special nephew, Johnny Redman.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Elmer Campbell and Dorothy McCord; and a daughter, Lisa Kay.
