Carol M. Fisher

She was born Saturday, July 11, 1942 in Muncie, the daughter of Jack and Hazel (Clevenger) Tuttle. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always there to help anyone in need. Carol had a kind heart with a joyful soul. She held many offices within the Woman’s Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge #231 where she performed with the Flying Eagles and served as bartender. Carol was Office Manager with the Delaware County Planning Commission.

Survivors include her daughters, Kelley (husband, Scott) Neargarder, Jackie Reum, and Penny (husband, Jeremy) Ring; grandchildren, Kristyn (husband, Steve) Pfohl, Devon (wife, Diana) Neargarder, Ashley (husband, Justin) Purvis, Tyler Whitted, Lacey (fiancé, Dustin) Whitted, Rhiannon (husband, Michael) Lehman; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Connie (life partner, Jaime) Davis; step-daughter, Sheri Fisher Lantz; and several nieces and nephews.

Father, Jack Tuttle; mother, Hazel Davis; brother, Don Tuttle; son-in-law, Scott Neargarder; sister-in-law, Pat Tuttle; and her longtime boyfriend, Odell Conatser, preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2023, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum.
