Caroline Cox

She was born January 27, 1938 in Selma, the daughter of Denver H. and Catherine V. (Pierce) Mayo. Sue retired from Ball State University. She lived her life for the Lord and was a member of Full Gospel Temple. First, Sue was a homemaker, she loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with them and reading her Bible.

Survivors include two sons, Dan Cox (wife Susan) and Robert Cox; sister, Pattie Whitehead (husband Leamon); nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert A. Cox; and her daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Bantz.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Full Gospel Temple with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
