Charles R Stacy

Charles Raymond Stacy, 73, Muncie, passed away Thursday morning, April 18, 2024, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born Sunday, July 2, 1950, in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of Raymond and Vina Mae (Davis) Stacy. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing poker. He also had a passion for rummage sales and flea markets. Charles was a lifetime member of Eagles Lodge #231. He worked at Frank’s Foundry before he retired. Survivors include his children, Charles (wife, Shayn) Stacy, Deborah (husband, Terry) Hicks, Steven Stacy, Raymond (girlfriend, Katrina) Stacy, and Rose (husband, Glen) Earls; brothers, Wayne Stacy, and Mike (wife, Tracy) Stacy; sisters, Brenda Glandon, Irene (husband, Danny) Adams, and Mary Ann (husband, Tony) Hurst; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vina Mae Stacy; and three brothers, Willie Proffit, Bill Stacy, and Jerry Stacy. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Glen Earls officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
