David graduated from Muncie Central High School. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years, being stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Thailand. David went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Master’s Degree in Economics from Ball State University. He worked as a Real Estate Agent and Insurance Agent for Hobley Insurance Agency for many years. David enjoyed scuba diving and exercising, especially riding his bike and walking.
David is survived by his loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Cedar Creek of Muncie and Heartland Hospice for all of the loving care and support that they provided David.
A public visitation will be held on February 6, 2025 from 11 am until 1 pm at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie, IN 47304. At 1 pm, the family will meet at David’s final resting place, in Elm Ridge Memorial Park, for military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps.
