Gerald Lee Hollingsworth

He was born Sunday, January 30, 1944, in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of Hobert P. Sr., and Wanda Elaine (Masters) Hollingsworth. Gerald loved working in his flower gardens. He enjoyed his vacations and traveling across the country. Gerald was an avid cat lover and attended cat shows all over the world. He retired from Delco Remy in Anderson where he worked for forty-four years.

Survivors include his brothers, Charles Hollingsworth, and Mark Hollingsworth; sister, Linda Diane Andino; nieces and nephews, Brent Hollingsworth, Rita (husband, James) Cicinelli, Chanda Hollingsworth, Brandi Hollingsworth, Cody Hollingsworth, Katherine Elaine Halsne, Erin Louise Grant Riggs, and Tamara Dawana Avila; and his sister-in-law, Cecilia Hollingsworth.

His parents, Hobert and Wanda Hollingsworth; and a brother, Wendell S. Hollingsworth; and a nephew, Cary Robert Grant, preceded him in death.

Family and friends may call at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Per Gerald’s wishes, there will not be any service.
