

He was born March 17, 1933 in Boyne Falls, Michigan to Peter and Sophia (Konopaski) Cieslak.
Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during W.W. II for ten years.
He retired from Chrysler in Detroit, Michigan.
Joe is survived by his wife, Marie Cieslak; sons, Larry Cieslak and Tony Cieslak, (special friend, Jane Wilson); step-daughter, Jackie Rose; sisters, Helen Duffy, Staffie Damer, Regina Borowiak; brother, Walter Cieslak; grandchildren, Tracy Brock, Michel Cieslak, Tony Cieslak, Jr., Lacey Cieslak, Morgan Cieslak; step-grandson, Steve Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mildred, Mary, John, Eddie, and Stanley; first wife, Christine Rose.
Services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304 with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating.
Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Military rites will be conducted immediately following the service.
Burial will take place at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
