Larry Scott Flick

Muncie- Larry Scott Flick, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Larry was born on October 21, 1940 in Muncie, Indiana to Desco George and Olive Mae (Ingle) Flick. Larry graduated from high school in 1959 in California; he was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served in Germany. Larry was retired from Brothers Trucking in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Larry belong to various clubs in and around the State, He was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club. He also enjoyed model trains. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Kay, who he married May 6, 2000 in Warren, Indiana; children, Scott Flick-Oregon, Gregory Flick-Texas, Melissa Flick-California, Tammy Brown-Huntington, IN, and Terri (Andy) Sorg-Ft. Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren; special niece Cristeena Collins-Muncie, IN, special nephew Jason (Jessica) Wright-Desoto, IN; sister Paulette (Joseph) Hutchison-Muncie, IN, brother Ronald (Mary Jane) Flick-Georgetown, IN, Dean (Martha) Flick-Louisville, Kentucky, and sister-in-laws Jenny Runion-Sheridan, Marilyn Flick-California; Uncle, Earl Mires-Selma, IN. Also several nieces and nephews and many friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Ruth Flick; brothers Michael Stephen Flick and Robert Lowell Runion. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore, Muncie from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the funeral home at 10:00 am with visitation from 9:00 am till the service. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
