Louise Owen

Muncie- Louise Owen, age 94, went to be with her Maker on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Louise was born in Henrietta, Texas on July 31, 1921 to Orville and Ora Coleman Wood. Louise was a homemaker who loved her children and was very active in their schools. She loved to cook and was the hub of her children's lives and social activities. Louise did enjoy many years of modeling and working in retail part time, and for Dr Bergwall after her children were grown. She and her husband loved to travel and had many wonderful memories with great friends. She was loved by many and lived a life full of love for her family, friends and church. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and High Street Methodist Church where she belonged for over 50 years. She was also a member of Eastern Star Halfway Chapter #230.

Louise was proceeded in death by her parents, her first husband, Gilbert Omar "Bus"Fullhart, son Nick L. Fullhart, son-in-law Joe Dye, daughter-in-law Rose Marie Fullhart and twin grandsons; her sister Mary Catallo and brother Bill Wood.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Owen whom she married June 24, 1951, children Dr. Ted L. (Connie) Fullhart, Patricia (Dennis) Knott, daughter-in-law Joyce Fullhart, Suzie Dye, and Donna L. (Greg) Cline., 12 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Louise will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave, Muncie at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to High Street Methodist Church in her memory. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3 PM at the same location.
