Melissa M. Freytag

Melissa was a devoted mother who loved taking care of her children/grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. She loved dogs and always had a family companion, along with watching over others (dogs). She was adored by many friends outside of family and LOVED by more than she realized.

She was a kind loving soul and always had a smile to share and a caring heart to offer. She cherished her relationships with her sisters Janice, Janet, Theresa, Carol, and Cousins Diana, Debbie & Asia. She held family very deeply in her heart. She loved being a twin to her sister Theresa (Terri).

She was a music lover who especially enjoyed listening to Diana Ross and the Supremes and Neil Diamond. One of her favorite songs was “Baby Love” by Diana Ross and the Supremes.

She is survived by her son, James; grandchildren, Mason, Caitlin, Meghan and Brandan; sister, Janice; nieces, Randi (Michelle) and Amy; nephews,Chris and Josh; a ton more nieces, nephews and cousins, ALL of great importance in her heart.

Melissa is preceded in passing by her parents; son, Jeff and sisters, Janet, Carol, Twin sister Theresa (Terri). nephew, Shane Keihn, younger brother, Georgie, and cousin George.

Celebration of Life is to be announced. All are welcome ❣️

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
