Michael Keever

Michael Howard Keever born Monday, December 18, 1972, to Betty and Michael Keever of Muncie, Indiana went home to the Lord on the morning of May 13, 2021, after a courageous and extended battle with Frontotemporal Lobe Deterioration, (FTD) and ALS.

Mike was a graduate of Muncie Southside High School class of 1991 after which he served his country in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Ordnance Specialist. Mike was an avid fisherman, firearms enthusiast, and lifelong Chicago Bears fan. Above all this, Mike was a devoted father to his four children who were his world. Mike had many lifelong friends, who he loved dearly.

His mother and father; Pop and Mom Morris; his uncle Tom and his uncle Terry preceded him in death.

His children, Austin Keever, Nathan Keever, Jackson Keever, and Annie Keever survive Mike.

Mike will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

Mike's children would like to express their deep gratitude to Caroline Cox and Amy Crall for their love, devotion, and dedication to Mike during his battle with FTD and ALS.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021, and after 9:00 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday May 17, 2021 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Mike will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ALS Association, Indiana Chapter, 7202 East 87th Street, #102, Indianapolis, Indiana 46256.
