Murna Hoover

Rome City - Murna L. (Morton-Eutsler) Hoover, age 65, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Murna was born May 15, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana to Albert and Martha Morton. She had worked as a Tool and Die Maker at Borg Warner for twenty-three years before accepting early retirement, she than resorted back to her lakehouse cottage retreat. She loved her lakeside paradise view with all the fishing, boating and bon fires blazing in the evening sky. Murna was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Jeffery L. Eutsler, sister Marie (Morton) Dietz Bole, brother Albert "Johnny" Morton, nephew Freddie Eugene Dietz Jr., niece Cathy Jo Dietz. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael D. Hoover; her children, Jamie (David) Carson, Alex (Special friend Shana Miller) Fortune, Thelma "Sissy" Austin, Ronny (Mike) Byrns, Geoffery (Special Friend Ellie Fights) Eutsler. 20 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Also survived by two special friends, Janet Carter, and her lifelong Childhood Friend Joe Shaw. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017 at the funeral home from 5:00 till 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Parkview Regional Hospital and special heartfelt thanks to ICU nurse Stephanie (Steph) from all of the family.
