She was born Friday, September 18, 1936 to Paul and Blanche (Perry) Jones. Netty retired from Indiana Glass after thirty years. She then went on to start her own cleaning business where she made many friends. Netty was a proud member of Temple Baptist Church since 1971.
Survivors include her son, Charles (April Thomas) Phipps; daughter, Teresa McCoy; two sisters, Lorene Pearson, and Anna Mae Robinson; several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Paul and Blanche Jones; four sisters; and three brothers preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Ben Lang officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
