

Dick retired after many years of committed service at Delco Remy in Anderson, where he was respected by colleagues and friends alike for his hard work and integrity. Beyond his professional career, he was an avid sportsman with a passion for baseball, basketball, and golf.
A familiar figure on the fast pitch softball fields, Dick was a well-known and formidable pitcher, earning admiration for his skill and competitive spirit. He also showcased his basketball talents playing for the Industrial League of Muncie, where he contributed both his athletic ability and team camaraderie.
Dick also enjoyed spending his leisure time on the greens as an enthusiastic member of the Killbuck Golf Club, where he forged many friendships and shared countless memorable rounds.
Dick is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Wade) Clevenger; son, Scott Clevenger, daughters, Valerie (Bob) Lamm and Karen Clevenger; grandchildren, Jennifer Lamm, Janice (Ryan) Westfall, Nicholus (Megan) Clevenger, Colton Clevenger, and Darlene Donovan; special grandson, Todd Matheny; great-grandchildren, Payton (Dani) Graham and Olivia Hester; and brother, Dan (Mary Ellen) Clevenger.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Mervyn and Esther Clevenger; brothers, James Clevenger and Charles Clevenger; sisters, Barbara Clevenger and Janice Rice; and his first wife, Jackie Clevenger.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at The Woodlands of Muncie for the love and care provided to Dick over the last 3 ½ years.
