Ricky Lee Shinkle

He was born Tuesday, June 1, 1954, the son of Francis and Ruth Anna (Gaskill) Shinkle. A lifelong resident of Muncie, Ricky attended Muncie Southside High School and received his Associate's Degree from Ivy Tech.

Ricky worked for Delco Remy for several years as a Lab Technician. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed picking vegetables from his garden. He also made an assortment of candies that tasted better than anything you can get in the store. He always gave the candies away to family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his brothers, Brian Shinkle, and George (Mary) Shinkle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gary Shinkle.

Friends and family may call on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.

Services will be on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required as well as social distancing.
