Robert C. Mynett

He was born January 29, 1930 in Muncie to Clare and Marcella (Bird) Mynett.

Robert graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1949.

He proudly served his country in the Indiana National Guard.

Robert was a member of Carpenter's Union Local 1016 in which he had been a member since 1948.

He had been a construction superintendent having retired from Baystone after 35 years of service.

Robert is survived by his son, Rob (Kelly) Mynett; daughters, Susan (Glen) Smith and Sherry (Randy) Lea; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Licht, Mike (Heather) Smith, Ryan Smith, Dawn Fauquher, Raeanne Eller, Andy (Kyley) Eller, Nathan (Jennifer) Mynett, Angie (Rocky) Brown, and Jessie Mynett; fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, whom he married October 21, 1951, Jane Anne (Rooksby) Mynett; grandparents, Hugh and Shirley Bird.

Services will be Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00 a. m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304 with Pastor Greg Carter officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
