Sara Lynn St. John

Sara was a Muncie native born on February 2, 1988. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Southside High School and went on to graduate from Ball State University. Sara passionately pursued her hobbies of drama, theater, and reading.

Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louie and Nora (Prater) St. John, and Ronald and Rovene (Cummins) Rinearson; her father, Timothy St. John; aunts, Joyce (St. John) Rhinehart and Darlene (Polks) St. John; uncles, Thomas Rinearson, Thomas St. John, and Tony Hines; and cousins, Alisa (Rhinehart) Brooks, Caleb St. John and Elijah St. John.

She is survived by her mother, Debra (Rinearson) St. John; brothers, Waylon Nicholas and Joseph; niece, Alanna; nephews, Dalton and Logan; cousin and life long best friend, Keeley; aunts, uncles, cousins, and their ever growing families whom Sara loved and adored.

Her passing leaves us all with a heavy grief tempered by fond memories of her shining personality and infectious laughter.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, located at 4600 W. Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN, 47304, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM.
