Sarah Jane (Secuskie) Neal

Sarah was born to Gordon and Lora (Armstrong) Secuskie on February 19, 1949, in Muncie. She attended Muncie Community Schools and lived in the area her whole life. Sarah married her husband, John L. Neal III on October 23, 1965. She loved doing many things in her life, but her friends and family always came first.

Sarah is survived by her sister, Gay Neal; two sons, John (wife, Andrea) and Chad Neal; two daughters, Kesu (husband, Tommy) McGhee and Hollie Reed; two special daughters, Cindy (husband, David) Young and Susie Koons; eleven grandchildren, Brandon, Page and Lilly Neal, Mahayla (husband, Eric) Hershman, John Thomas, Kesu and Jordan McGhee, Chad II and Jacob Neal, Jackie Thomas and Michael Miller; ten great-grandchildren, Kadence, Peyton, Brandon, Kesu, Coden, Kennadee, Kyndyll, Evelina, Macie and Abbie, all of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, John L. Neal III; one daughter, LaDeanna Neal; one brother, Benji Secuskie; and one sister, LaDeanna May.

A memorial service to celebrate Sarah’s life will be 2:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304. Friends and family may gather to share and remember one hour prior from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
