Scott Eugene Lashley

Scott Eugene Lashley, 43, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Sunday, February 13, 1977, in Muncie, the son of Roy L. and Marla (Whitaker) Lashley. Scott worked at Bartlett Inc. and at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. He graduated from Ivy Tech with certification in Heating and Air Conditioning. Scott enjoyed cookouts and any “outside” activities and singing and playing his guitar. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters and his mom. Survivors include his two daughters, Chloe Lashley, and Destiny Lashley; his mom, Marla Whitaker; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad, Roy L. Lashley. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial with graveside services will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the services on Monday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
