

He was born January 4, 1957, in Muncie, the son of Tommy and Donna (Lounsbury) Curtis. Thomas graduated from South Side High School in 1975. He worked at Warner Gear and also at the Chateau Nursing Home. Most of his life, Thomas was self-employed, a carpenter, and "jack of all trades" and he helped many family members and friends in their time of need. He loved all sports, especially fishing, bowling, NASCAR, wrestling, softball and baseball. Thomas was everyone's "rock" and will be missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Lynn (Wheeler) Curtis; mom, Donna Curtis; four children, TC Curtis Jr. (wife Marciel), Ashley Comfort, (husband Matthew); twins: Matthew and Rachel Curtis; grandkids: Xavier Curtis, Brayden Curtis, Tay Curtis, Tyli Curtis, Isaiah Higdon, Niah Comfort, Layah Comfort, and Lance Comfort; one great-grandchild, Ayden Comfort; sisters: Kimberly Scofield (Charlie), Kandi Hansard (Calvin); brother, Kip Curtis (Tami); aunts: Donna Wallisa, Sherry Trent, Bonnie McCloud and Peggy Coe; several nieces and nephews and his loving dogs, Juno and Lil Girl, and several special friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Tommy Curtis; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Mary Curtis, and maternal grandparents, Cecil and Dica Lounsbury.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with his services.
