Virginia R Partin

Virginia R Partin (1927-2022) Virginia Partin went home to Jesus on May fifteenth, 2022 at age 94. Virginia was born October 15, 1927 in Akron, Ohio to Howard and Marjorie Shellhorn, being one of five children. Virginia met her husband, Arnold Partin, in 1947 while working as a secretary in an insurance office in Kent, Ohio. They were married five months later on August 24, 1947. They settled in Muncie, Indiana where Arnold worked for Warner Gear and the couple’s union was blessed with two children, Monte and Tamara. Together they served the Northern Indiana Separate Baptist Association ministry, where Virginia served as clerk for many years. Virginia and Arnold were married and faithfully served the Lord together for 51 years until the Lord called Arnold home. She generously loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold C Partin; son, Monte Lee Partin; sister, Lois Harmon; brothers, Courtland Shellhorn, Howard Shellhorn, Robert Shellhorn; and parents, Howard and Marjorie Shellhorn. Virginia’s beautiful life will be cherished by her daughter, Tammy Reese (Robert); grandchildren, Michael Maynard, Phillip Maynard, Hannah (Zach) Beechboard; great-grandchildren, Olivia Beechboard, Abram Beechboard; a host of cherished friends. A funeral will be held at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, Muncie on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor, Jimmie Hamm will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
